Every Arcana in the Destiny Matrix has both a light expression and a shadow expression. The light describes the energy when it is aligned, conscious, and directed toward growth. The shadow describes the pattern when the same energy is unexamined or operating defensively.
A chart is not read as good or bad based on which Arcana appear. It is read as a map of the energies in play and the tendencies they create. The most powerful reading comes from understanding both dimensions of each number — not from judging one as preferable to the other.
